The French School of Siem Reap welcomes, subject to available places and certain conditions, students from any background.
Indeed, French schools abroad are intended to extend the public service of education outside French territory to students of French nationality. They also enroll children from the host country and other nationalities who wish to benefit from French educational expertise. In some case, language tests may be organized to assess the level of students.
Students with special needs are also enrolled at the EFSR, subject to agreements and arrangements previously discussed with management and the teaching team.
Schooling prepares students for the French baccalaureate and of course for French higher education as well as international higher education.
Enrollment requests, depending on the child’s background, may be prioritized or subject to interview and assessment. Pre-registration requests can be submitted at any time of the year via the form (Registration Form). Registrations are open as early as March of each year.
Registration is undertaken by submitting the completed registration form together with all the required supporting documents. Registration requests are then reviewed by the school administration and the decision of the head of the school is communicated to you.
Registration is validated only when all registration documents have been received by the school administration and registration fees are paid.
The presentation of proof of liability insurance valid for the duration of the school year is mandatory.
The EFSR will take out a school insurance for all families who can not provide liability insurance certificates for their child (ren). School insurance covers any bodily injury or material damage that a child could be responsible for (damage caused) during school and out-of-school activities. The personal certificates and the details of the insurance policy are available upon request.
